Most recently, OnePlus was discovered to be slowing down the performance of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro without any user input. So far, Geekbench has not reinstated the previously removed OnePlus 9 benchmarks. The OnePlus 9 series has been delisted from the Geekbench charts, due to allegations of benchmark manipulation. OxygenOS still has a few minor bugs constantly being removed through updates. This could recommend, that the ARM Cortex-X1 core that sustains the Snapdragon 888+ is having bother with certain duties. While this may impact the devices’ performance in some benchmarking apps, our focus as always is to do what we can to improve the performance of the device for our users.
